New Student Orientation
- Overview of the BMAC office, Support Services and Accommodations, Stephen Benson Learning Disability Program, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, Case Management, Learning Independence for Empowerment (LIFE) Project, and the Accessible Technology Program (BMAC-ATP)
- Panel discussion with current and former CSULB students who have used BMAC services
- Q&A opportunity with BMAC staff on how to support BMAC students embarking on their college journey.
- Campus partner presentations.
Parent & Family Orientation
During this virtual session, BMAC leadership will provide an overview of accommodations, services, and campus resources while discussing the transition to college, student self-advocacy, FERPA, and ways families can support student success at CSULB. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and connect with BMAC staff.
This event is intended for parents, family members, and supporters of incoming students.
